| @NewHope’s Marketplace Leadership was grateful to present/hear Minister and New York Times best-selling author of “90 Minutes in Heaven” Don Piper, who returned to share his story last night.
In 1989, Don Piper was on his way home from a conference when an 18-wheel truck struck his Ford Escort while crossing a bridge. He was crushed by his car roof, the steering wheel impaled his chest, the dashboard collapsed on both legs. Paramedics could find no sign of life in him and covered him with a tarp as a fellow pastor prayed over him while waiting for the medical examiner to arrive. He recounts his experiences in heaven in his book.
